Cybersecurity experts predict that in 2025, the main cyber threats will include attacks on Android mobile devices and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in attacks. There is an expected rise in attacks on IT integrators and software developers, which allows hackers to obtain legitimate credentials to access corporate networks.
The number of malicious programs for Android will increase, along with new modifications of old threats. Phishing attacks on multi-factor authentication (MFA) will lead attackers to look for ways to bypass this protection.
New fraudulent schemes will emerge, including attacks through messengers and fraudulent files. Additionally, there is a forecasted rise in AI-driven attacks, such as deepfakes and automated phishing campaigns.
Archives will remain a popular method for delivering malware, but attackers will improve their obfuscation techniques. The increased availability of malicious software, especially spyware, will expand the capabilities of cyberattacks, including for blackmail and more complex attacks.
